Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Annual “Sweetie Lady” Memorial Bowls CHARITY Gala will take place on Sunday 16th August, in loving memory of our Honouree President, Jean Clarkson, who sadly passed away in January 2023.

Last year’s event was a wonderful success, raising over £1,200 for Myton Hospice—a cause close to Jean’s heart. We are once again aiming to match or exceed that success, and as part of the day’s fundraising efforts, we will be holding a raffle.

To make this possible, we are kindly asking all club members to donate raffle prizes. Alcohol and chocolate are especially welcome, as these proved very popular last year. Donations can be handed in to the staff behind the bar at your convenience.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us honour Jean’s memory and raise funds for a truly worthy cause. We look forward to seeing many of you on the day.

SOCIAL SEQUENCE DANCING - ALTERNATE TUESDAY AFTERNOONS / EVENINGS

An enjoyable friendly way to spend an Afternoon 2pm - 4pm or Evening 7.30pm - 10pm

with like minded people taking part in a social activity to music and making new friends.

So why not come along with someone to dance with and join us, you will be very welcome.

WHAT IS SEQUENCE DANCING I HERE YOU SAY

Sequence is a structed form of dance which involves dancers performing the same set of steps

in a fixed sequence which is pre-arranged. It allows participants to dance together in unison, making 

it very suitable for both beginners and experienced dancers.

Keith Billington Funeral Details 

A celebration of the life of Keith Billington will be held on Thursday 6th March 2025 at 4:00pm at Oakley Wood Crematorium, Leamington - North Chapel.

After the service the wake will be held at the Whitnash Sports & Social Club from around 5pm
