3rd April 2022 Stockton 6 - Whitnash Sports & Social Club 1

I have seen Stockton play most Sundays, all I can say is that Whitnash caught Stockton on a very good day, probably their best performance for some time. There was an early chance for Whitnash when the Stockton defence made a misjudgement on their left and the pass across the goal found a player only for it to be saved.  Stockton launched raid after rain on the left side and eventually the pressure told. Here is the report from the league website.

Fastest goal of the day here for Mitchell Coleman after only nine minutes. Ryan Barnard added a second six minutes later and Whitnash struck back through Andre La Barbera before half time to make it interesting. Just before the hour mark and Josh Tolley grabbed a brace in a two minute spell. This was shortly followed by John Ahearne with another brace to seal the deal.

13th March 2022 Whitnash Sports & Social Club 4 Bulldog 2

Fastest goal of the day here and it came from Michael Aulak in the very first minute. He went on to score a hat trick with his last coming two minutes from time. Louis Todd was the other Whitnash marksman. Two second half strikes from Jordan Evetts and Mark Hickey kept the Bulldog in the hunt but it wasn’t enough.

27th Feb 2022 Kenilworth Wardens 2 Whitnash Sports and Social 1

Wardens came from behind and continue their search for Honours. Louis Todd was the Whitnash scorer just on the half hour mark. Wardens have two second half goals from Toby Wells and Harrison Wright to thank for the three points. It’s all still on!

13th Feb 2022 Whitnash Sports and Social Club 1 - Kenilworth Wardens 1

Miserable day, cold, windy and wet. We started off slow, conceding an early go within 7 mins. Sloppy goal. Woke us up, played ball on the deck and concentrated on breaking opposition down. Maintained possession well, creating some good chances for Mike Aulak, Ben Smith, Louis Todd the most notable, and kept score to 1-0 at half time with keeper Lewis Khalsi making a few good saves, but rarely challenged.

We're were out early for 2nd half, kicking a ball around to keep warm and we started well and continued with possession football. 12 mins into 2nd half Mike Aulak scores after some good football involving a team move. Both teams continued to threaten, but we looked more likely to score. One golden chance fell to Ben Smith who looked certain to score after reading the flight of the ball better than the defender. Unfortunately said defender managed to get the slightest of touches to just nip it away for a corner.

All in all a great game of football with both teams trying to play football in difficult conditions. Big point against 3rd in the league, but felt like we deserved all 3.

6th Feb 2022 Wellesbourne Wanderers 2 Whitnash Sports and Social Club 1

Two goals in the first twenty minutes were enough here as Wanderers maintain their squeeze at the Top of the Table. Max Dale and Henry Ford on target for the home side. Benjamin Smith with the late reply for Whinash but Wellesbourne held on to take the points.

30th Jan 2022 Whitnash Sports & Social Club 1 Wellesbourne Wanderers 2
The Wanderers move up to second spot in the table now and two first half goals from Max Dale and Sean Hopwood did the damage. Michael Aulak pulled one back For Whitnash shortly after the break but Wellesbourne held on to take the points .
