Today was Glyn Stout's first day as GM of The Club.  I am sure you will give him a warm welcome.

Glyn has huge experience in the trade.  He served Queen and country for over 10 years, seeing service in the Falklands. Bosnia and Cyprus amongst other hotspots in the Army. He then managed two pubs and two golf clubs.

His last job was GM of a luxury floating restaurant in Stratford.

We are holding a tea dance on Saturday October 16th at 3pm.

Entry is £3. We welcome beginners and experienced dancers alike.

Sequence Dancing is like ballroom but with repeated steps and you circle the ballroom.

Follow this link to see an example of the White City Walz, most of us are not as skilled as this couple so don't worry about missing a few steps.

We meet every other Tuesday, next dance is 7th September.

After our enforced closure due to COVID, we are excited to welcome you back today. (Thursday 22nd)

Following the government’s announcements concerning the easing of restrictions please see below how we intend to proceed after 19th July.

Whilst we welcome this positive step, the safety for our members, guests and staff will remain our priority.

Our staff members will continue to wear face coverings while at work, and we politely recommend the continued use of face coverings by our members and guests in communal areas, hand sanitiser stations will remain in place as will track and trace.

I’m sure everyone will be excited to lose the table of 6 rule and also be able to visit the bar, however we continue to ask you to be cautious and continue to enjoy the table service which will remain in place during our busier periods.

We strongly believe that we are building a community club and are excited to be able to create more memories with all of you in the coming months.
